PAYMENT POLICY

This Payment Policy refers and applies to all services provided by Wash Your Tail LLC DBA Prairie Dog (“Prairie Dog”) including, but not limited to Canine Daycare, Boarding, Training, and Grooming (“Services”). By your signature, you agree upon Prairie Dog’s rendering of any Service, a corresponding charge will be immediately applied to your account and billed to the card on file according to the current pricing at the time of Service.

You acknowledge and agree Prairie Dog’s pricing and policies are publicly listed on Prairie Dog’s website, and/or posted in Prairie Dog’s lobby and so forever waive any claim of lack of knowledge of or lack of consent to a price increase.  You agree to be charged automatically for upcharge services and late fees including,  but not limited to intact fee (2+ years), house food, administration of medication/supplements, collar/leash purchase, late fees, emergency pickup or drop off, before/after hours pickup or dropoff, sanitary bathing, or separate kenneling charges for additional dog(s).  You agree to pay for all other charges at the time of pickup.  If a debit/credit card is canceled, declined, or expired, you agree to place a valid form of payment on your account and pay for any banking and management fees incurred by Prairie Dog, as a result.

By physically engaging in the services of Prairie Dog, you consent to the terms of Prairie Dog’s Payment Policy.

DAYCARE POLICY

  • Completed Gingr profiles are required before the first reservation can be made.
  • Appointments are required to ensure we have a safe staff-to-dog ratio.
  • Up-to-date proof of Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella are required for all services. Vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian.
  • In the event of a medical emergency, medical attention will be immediately sought at the nearest/most convenient veterinary clinic to Prairie Dog. Reasonable attempts to contact the owner will be made. You will be responsible for all veterinary clinic and transportation charges incurred.
  • Medication fees are $5/administration for anything other than dog food (supplements or medication).
  • Any late pickup past our business hours will be subject to a $15 charge for every 5 minutes past close of business. This charge will be automatically added to your charges for the day. After 30 minutes past the close of business, your dog will be subject to overnight boarding at an additional charge.
  • If a dog injures another dog, staff, or person, each owner is liable for their own dog for any costs incurred as a result of said injury.
  • We are not responsible for damage to any personal items you may bring into our facility.
  • Collars are required and must fit properly so they cannot slip off or a rental collar charge will be required. Choke chains, prongs, & e-collars are not permitted in our facility.
  • We accept cash and credit cards. You must have a credit card on file prior to making any reservation.
  • Packages are non-refundable, non-transferable, and expire one year after the date of purchase.
  • Completion of an evaluation of your dog is required before scheduling full days of daycare.
  • Cancellations for daycare must be communicated to Prairie Dog by 12pm (noon) the day prior to reservation start. Late cancellation or no-show will result in a full-day charge to your credit card on file.
  • If a female is in heat, she cannot enter the facility for any services. Females cannot partake in any social pack play for 30 days from their last day of bleeding.
  • You will be charged an additional $10/day fee for any dog over 2 years that is intact.
  • By accepting services by Prairie Dog, staff, owners, and self-contractors you consent to Prairie Dog’s use of your dog’s likeness for promotional purposes, unless such consent is withdrawn in writing and delivered to Prairie Dog.

BOARDING POLICY

  • Completed Gingr profiles are required before the first reservation can be made.

  • Appointments are required to ensure we have available kennel space.

  • Up-to-date proof of Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella are required for all services. Vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian.

  • In the event of a medical emergency, medical attention will be immediately sought at the nearest/most convenient veterinary clinic to Prairie Dog. Reasonable attempts to contact the owner will be made. You will be responsible for all veterinary clinic and transportation charges incurred.

  • Medication fees are $5/administration for anything other than dog food (supplements or medication).

  • A $50 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve boarding over a holiday.

  • We are not responsible for damage to any personal items you may bring into our facility.

  • We accept cash and credit cards. You must have a credit card on file prior to making any reservation.

  • Boarding stays and their associated fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Overnight charge allows for free next-day daycare until 12pm.

  • Discounted rates may be available for additional dog(s) on the condition they can share a single kennel, sleep together, and eat together. If a second kennel is needed for any reason, both dogs will be charged as a single dog.

  • Boarding cancellations must be communicated to Prairie Dog 24 hours in advance of the start of the reservation. Late cancellation or no-show will result in an overnight charge of the kennel rate to the card on file.

  • Any siblings of the opposite sex who remain intact above 6 months of age are required to be kenneled separately.

  • Only dogs that reside in the same household are allowed to share a kennel.

  • If a female is in heat, they cannot enter the facility for any services. Females cannot partake in any social pack play for 30 days from their last day of bleeding.

GROOMING POLICY

  • Completed Gingr profiles are required before the first reservation can be made.

  • Appointments are required

  • Up-to-date proof of Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella are required for all services. Vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian.

  • In the event of a medical emergency, medical attention will be immediately sought at the nearest/most convenient veterinary clinic to Prairie Dog. Reasonable attempts to contact the owner will be made. You will be responsible for all veterinary clinic and transportation charges incurred.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be required to reschedule or be subject to a late fee.

  • If you are 20 minutes or more late for your appointment, the groom will be rescheduled.

  • Cancellation must be made 24 hours prior to the start time of the scheduled groom.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the start time of the scheduled groom will result in a charge to you of the full base price of a groom.

  • If you have three no-shows or late cancellations, you will be required to pre-pay before scheduling future grooming appointments. Cancellation policies apply to pre-payments.

  • Our groomers WILL NOT perform painful de-matting procedures.

  • Removal of the matting is required to render grooming services. An additional matting fee will be added to the cost of the groom at the groomer’s discretion. The fee will vary with the severity of the groom. Matting fees could double the cost of the groom.

  • You MUST inform the groomers of any health conditions or any previous stress-related injuries, prior to the start of their appointment.

  • Some services may be limited due to ear infections or elongated quicks.

  • If a dog reacts in an aggressive or uncooperative manner that requires him/her to wear a muzzle or requires the groomer to engage the assistance of additional staff to help manage him/her, an additional fee will be added to the regular grooming price.

  • Services will be stopped at the groomer’s discretion if a dog displays excessive aggression or stress. The grooming fee will be prorated for services already rendered prior to termination of grooming services.

  • You will be charged an additional $10/day fee for any dog over 2 years that is intact.

  • By accepting services by Prairie Dog, staff, owners, and self-contractors you consent to Prairie Dog’s use of your dog’s likeness for promotional purposes unless such consent is withdrawn in writing and delivered to Prairie Dog.

TRAINING POLICY

  • Evaluations are required in order to purchase and sign up for any training program with our trainer.

  • Completed Gingr profiles and training forms are required before an Evaluation reservation can be made.

  • Up-to-date proof of Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella are required for all services. Vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian.

  • In the event of a medical emergency, medical attention will be immediately sought at the nearest/most convenient veterinary clinic to Prairie Dog. Reasonable attempts to contact the owner will be made. You will be responsible for all veterinary clinic and transportation charges incurred.

  • Prairie Dog implements Balanced Training which uses a variety of tools. These tools may be used and will be safely and properly introduced to the dog during a program, including but not limited to flat collars, martingale collars, Starmark collars, pinch collars, e-collars, correction, slip leads, long lines, praise, toys, treats, etc.

  • Our trainer does not work with severe aggression or anxiety cases. If your dog starts exhibiting these behaviors during the program and our trainer is unable to continue the program, our trainer will dismiss the dog.

  • Programs must be scheduled consecutively, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays with the one-hour “Go Home Lesson(s)” scheduled on the following Wednesday(s).

  • If a dog misses a training day due to the fault of the owner, that training day is NOT able to be rescheduled.

  • If a dog misses a training day due to the fault of Prairie Dog being closed and/or the trainer being unexpectedly out, the day(s) will be rescheduled to the trainer’s soonest availability.

  • Payment is due in full at the time of scheduling the training program.

  • Payment for the programs, evaluations, tools, and any other training services are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • You authorize our trainer to bring your dog into public spaces during his/her program for the purpose of dog training.

  • Training is a long-term commitment and is NEVER guaranteed. Our trainer will make every effort to meet your desired goals for their dog’s behavior. However, our trainer cannot guarantee the dog’s future reliability. The upkeep of what is taught to the dog during their program(s) is the responsibility of the owner and continued training at home is required to keep the dog(s) successful. Dogs who regularly go to daycare and/or dog parks and don’t continue training at home may have varying outcomes.
