A message from the trainer:

Hello, my name is Sydney Swanson! I graduated from NDSU in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a minor in Business Administration. I have been working in the dog industry since 2015. In these years, I have shadowed, mentored and worked under a number of trainers & groomers at dog facilities. I have focused on learning and getting as much hands-on experience as possible. My true passion is obedience training. I love watching dogs learn and work, all while guiding the owners. I would love the opportunity to be a part of your dog and you learning and growing together!

Testimonials from Dog Owners

Briggs loved going to training with Sydney! With Briggs being an Aussie he loved using his brain
and working during training. I was so impressed with how fast he learned new things! Sydney is
also wonderful when you have questions even after the training sessions are complete! I
recommend her to everyone!

Alexis MBriggs' Owner

We can’t recommend Obedience Training at Prairie Dog Fargo enough!! He (Murphy) has come
so far and we feel much more confident in our ability to continue to train him. Thank you,

Lyn TMurphy's Owner

So so thankful to have found Sydney and Prairie Dog! He (Leonard) was a very unruly little
puppy and Sydney has been instrumental in helping both of us learn the best ways to approach
his particular behaviors. We are so grateful to have a trainer who willingly listens to our concerns
and will address his needs specifically and doesn’t take the one size fits all approach. Cannot
recommend her (Sydney) enough!”

Charlotte KLeonard's Owner

I highly recommend Sydney for your dog training needs. She did awesome with my rescue pup
and I’m excited for his next training sessions. You can tell she really loves what she does and my
dog LOVED her. She also sends you home with handouts so you can continue the lessons
